CJ Rosenborough, MS,LAT, ATC
Head Athletic Trainer
Conifer High School

CJ is a Board Certified and Colorado Licensed Athletic Trainer. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland and grew up in Richmond, Virginia, where he played high school football and lacrosse. CJ is Career and Technical Education (CTE) certified for Health Sciences and has implemented and managed the Conifer Sports Medicine Program since 2019. He is passionate about furthering the profession of athletic training and serves as a preceptor and research mentor for athletic training students and teaches CPR as an American Heart Association Basic Life Support Instructor. He enjoys snowboarding, hiking, camping and kayaking with his wife, Becca, and golden retriever, Delilah.

PRN Sports Coverage

CJ has covered Conifer athletics since the Fall of 2019. CJ is Career and Technical Education (CTE) certified for Health Sciences and has implemented and managed the Conifer Sports Medicine Program since 2019.

When not out exploring with his wife and dog, CJ provides PRN athletic training services to local events throughout the summer, such as the 2021 US Club Soccer National Championships, various lacrosse camps, and 5k races.

University of Lynchburg

While at the University of Lynchburg, CJ worked with several high schools in the Lynchburg, Virginia area. He completed a clinical rotation with Division I, II and III Men’s and Women’s hockey at Liberty University and worked with the Flames Division I Women’s Hockey team in their 2019 ACHA National Championship season. He also worked with the University of Lynchburg’s Division III lacrosse team for their 2018 ODAC championship season and berth in the 2nd round of the NCAA tournament.

CJ received the Outstanding Research in Athletic Training Award for his work on his thesis research titled, "The Effects of a Non-Traditional Lacrosse Season on Functional Mobility and Stability in Collegiate Lacrosse Athletes", and was a finalist for the Master’s Student Outstanding Podium Presentation Award at the National Strength and Conditioning Association’s 2019 National Convention. CJ is also a member of the University of Lynchburg’s Iota Tau Alpha Athletic Training Honors Society.
